this is that Garrett to save 25 cents per turbo speced a PLASTIC ball seperator in their bearings. Although this is an engineering plastic, it is still prone to heat damage and is one of the main reasons why a Garrett BB turbo shits its bed. It also means that you really should plumb the water to your CHRA. I dislike doing this myself as I like to eliminate potential failure points in my race orriented cars. If you had a cermic bearing rebuild, it would be awsome and an outlet for those with blown up unserviceable BB Garrett turbos.
